The first floor houses some classrooms and a girl's bathroom. Nothing fancy on this floor, either.

The second floor is nothing more than spooky and dimly lit corridors and hallways. It's the perfect site of sneaking around at night.

The third floor is home to most of the classrooms and during the week in between class breaks, it is frequented quite often.

The fourth floor is the home of the Hogwart's library, a very impressive collection of fiction and nonfiction books.

Classrooms are a main feature of the fifth floor, but the prefects bathrooms are also found on this floor.

There is nothing fancy about the sixth floor. Classrooms and hallways, as well as a boy's bathroom are about the only exciting features of the sixth floor.

Along with some classrooms, the most notable feature of the seventh floor is the Room of Requirement, which makes this floor widely accessed by the students of Hogwarts.

The dungeons have a lot going on. It is home to the Slytherin and Hufflepuff common rooms as well as the kitchen. It's also incredibly dark and dreary, and naturally made for sneaking around.

The Forbidden Forest is forbidden to all students, as it home to many types of dangerous and foreign creatures, such as centaurs, Thestrals, unicorns, Hippogriffs and Acromantula. Students serving detention sentences with Hagrid with often find themselves in the forest.

There are at least three greenhouses in which Herbology classes are held, under Professor Sprout's supervision. Greenhouse

three is restricted to students as it houses dangerous plants such as Venomous Tentaculas, Mandrakes, and others.

The Hogwarts Lake is a large body of water located to the south of the castle. It is about half a mile in diameter and the Hogwarts plumbing network drains into it. It is home to a giant squid and a colony of Merpeople.

Gladrags Wizardwear is a clothing store in Hogsmeade, founded in 1750. There are other branches in London and Paris. It is full of quirky merchandise and appears to specialise in strange and unusual socks.

Although not as popular as the Three Broomsticks, the Hog's Head is another inn and pub located in Hogsmeade. The entire place is dirty and covered in filth, but that doesn't keep the locals from coming in and getting a drink. The tables are ancient and wooden, having a single candle as the centerpiece. The Hog's Head is loved only by those who know it well.

Honeydukes is one of the famous attractions in Hogsmeade. It is a sweet shop famous for its chocolate and many wonderfully wild sweets. It also houses the entrance to a secret passageway to Hogwarts.

Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop is located in a side street off the main road in Hogsmeade. It's a small tea shop owned by Madam Puddifoot. It is very hot and steamy here, and also very cramped.

Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop is a writing supplies store in Hogsmeade. It sells various quills, parchment and stationery needed for students at Hogwarts. The shop stock includes stationery such as rainbow ink and extra-large quills.

The Shrieking Shack is an abandoned house in Hogsmeade. For many years, villagers thought it was haunted because they often heard screams coming from inside.

The Three Broomsticks is an inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade. It is often warm, crowded, and a bit smoky, but clean and welcoming. A mirror behind the bar reflects the cosy atmosphere, and drinks such as Butterbeer and Firewhiskey are served in glasses and in pewter tankards.

The Ministry of Magic is the massive office where all of the officials of the wizarding world work out of. The Minister of Magic works from here, as well as smaller employees, aurors, and other departments all dealing with magical affairs.

St. Mungo's is the wizarding hospital where witches and wizards can go to get just about any sort of condition fixed. It's a massive place, and they can treat literally anything here: hexes, curses, or simple injuries.

The number one wizarding prison. All prisoners are taken to the island where Azkaban is located. It's a very eerie place, and is protected by dementors.

Both Wizarding and Muggles live here, Cornwall is also home to a number of pixies.

A small village called Ottery St. Catchpole is located here, which is home to both wizarding and muggle families.

The Capital of England, where the Buckingham Palace is. You can also find Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley here.

The capital of France, many students from Beauxbatons Academy for Magic get their school supplies here.

Little Whinging is located here, and the Battle of Little Whinging was located here.

There are both Muggle and magical settlements here, it is also the sites of Stonehenge, and Avebury.
