Lily sighed, as she sat down at the table. The school had grown in the past few weeks, with people who obviously didn't belong. And besides, she felt like something was wrong, that a power was growing. She thought about owling her dad about it, but hadn't done it yet. She wanted to talk to her brothers about it mostly, just so she knew they felt it too. She was obviously late, because the Headmaster had already said his announcements, and the food had been brought in. She turned her head to someone who asked where she had been. "I overslept. I had a lot of nightmares last night." She said, bowing her head. She hadn't met anyone that might make her scream, meaning anyone from her family, that obviously was way too young to be here. She picked up a roll and tore a piece off, popping it into her mouth. Her brother, James, was down the table, so maybe after she had something to eat, she could hunt him down and ask him if he felt anything. Like something bad was coming. She defiantly knew she needed to owl her father about this. Lily looked around, to see who was here, who was ditching, or just late. She saw most of the people she knew, but mostly some she didn't. She hated this. This stupid time travel thing. Stupid kid. WORD COUNT;; 2 - 3 - 2 TAGGING;; It's open! OUTFIT;; will be the end of me NOTES;; None. SO WE KEEP WAITING ( waiting on the world to change ) [/size] If someone had any idea what was going on, she would really appreciate if they would inform her. Nothing, literally nothing, was correct at Hogwarts. Ginny had woken up one morning in her dormitory bed, feeling slightly dizzy. And as she made her way down into the common room, she realized that something was definitely off. There were entirely too many students. It wasn't uncomfortable, simply because the castle magically altered itself to house more students. However, nobody was certain how it had happened, or what was truly going on. She'd talked to a few people, and they had all come from different times. Which meant her mother and father could be out there somewhere, along with her future life. The thought was shakingly scary. No one really knew what the present was, either. Although those from the future were pretty firm in stating that they came from the present, and that they were still in their world.
It had been only a few days since the time shift had happened. Ginny had yet to have any awkward encounters. She tended to stay in groups she was familiar with--her friends and fellow classmates. Of course, a small part of her seemed thrilled and excited about the prospect of the past, present, and future colliding. But, she remained distant and aloof to those around her. That particular morning she woke later than normal. Quickly throwing her robes on, she made her way down to the Great Hall, only to find that her normal seating with her normal friends was taken. With a discontented sigh, Ginny made her way along the Gryffindor table, which had been elongated magically. Seeing only one empty seat, she made her way towards it at a quick walk. There was no way she was letting someone else snatch that seat. Settling herself down on the bench, she looked at the food in front of her before deciding to let herself glance in the direction of the people to her sides.
To her left, she found a younger boy who looked rather frightened. In fact, she felt bad just looking at him. It was if he'd seen a ghost. She offered him a gentle smile, letting him know she wouldn't bite. At least she was a fifth year, and not some poor first year. This experience would be enough to swear someone off magic permanently. Looking to her right, she found herself uncanningly drawn to the girl sitting there. She looked awfully familiar. Ginny knew better than to think it was someone she met in her own era. No, she had a feeling this was someone from the future or past, someone slightly significant. It was just a feeling in her gut. And Ginny always trusted her gut feelings, no matter what. Before deciding to say anything, Ginny reached forward for a piece of toast, biting into it politely and settling it down on the plate. Grabbing some orange juice, she took a long sip before turning slightly to her right, speaking to the dark haired girl beside her.
"Hello." It was all she said. Rather simple, yes, but it served the purpose. As Ginny waited for a response, she grabbed her toast again, taking another small bite and chewing thoughtfully.

Lily barely noticed someone sitting down next to her as she bit into a pumpkin pasty. She looked over and saw a kid watching the person next to her. She wondered briefly if he was the one who caused all this. Though she couldn't be too mad, if she had been given the time turner, she would've done the same thing with her curiosity. Though she would make herself shunned for it later, because this was idiotic. Seeing your parents walking around school, at least the teachers had figured out that the eras had been messed with, they separated them into different parts of the dorms. Lily was fine sleeping in the same room as people she knew, but other eras, yeah that was a bit overboard. Lily looked over and swallowed. "Um.. Hi. I'm Lily." She said, holding out her hand. She cringed inside, this was her mother. In her time, her mother was over controlling, and constantly breathing down her neck for her grades. And now, she was sitting next to her, only a year older than her. This was an experience that nobody should have to endure. Quite scary actually. Sitting in front of your mother, when they're a year older than you. Besides, she didn't have much of an idea about how her mother acted before having her children. And she doubted how much her mother would be thrilled to meet her children. Where in the world were her brothers, she could just hide behind James in a time like this.
