PARAGRAPH FORMAT :: Sirius is...a character. Loud, cocky, intelligent, good looking, comes off as the most amazing person you'll ever meet. With in a few weeks of that, you'll have dubbed him the most annoying. Immature, idealistic, a very small attention span, and no desire for real relationships. If you get close enough to him you might realize there's a bit more going on. He's still a charmer, and more likely than not you've got a few choice words to describe him, but you probably also respect him more. He puts a hundred and ten percent into everything he chooses to do, and probably more into the well-being of people he cares about. For what he believes in he's willing to go against everything he knows. And he’ll never abandon a person or a promise even for his own wishes.

HISTORY :: Sirius was born as the oldest son in the Black family on September 13th, 1960. He was raised to be a model pure-blood wizard, but it didn't take long for his family to realize that it just wasn't going to happen. He didn't believe in their ideals and made a point to mention so on every possible occasion. He also went out of his way to break other unreasonable rules. He often had blow out arguments with his mother and she constantly reminded him he was an embarrassment to the family.
Once at Hogwarts, things took a turn for the better. Sirius met the best friends he could ever wish to have and they were all sorted as Gryffindors. He'd surely call these the greatest years of his life; living with people he could more than tolerate and having a good time just because he could. They made a point to make life an adventure as often as possible, between there pranks, relationships, and more. It was in their forth year they adopted the name the Marauders after James, Peter, and him had become animigi to assist their other friend Remus.
Throughout the years his relationship with his family remained strained and soon turned into a mutual hatred. His bond with his friends strengthened however and he soon came to replace the first for the latter. Sixth year now, and on top of the world. So things seemed to be going pretty good. Sure, there were problems, but who lets those keep them down.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE ::One of the Hogwarts students currently present in the Three Broomsticks was none other than the famous -or infamous depending on whom you asked- Marauder, Sirius Black. He was probably considered a regular here, definitely actually, though his regular-ness usually involved a rowdy table for four. On the off chance he was alone he'd usually find himself in a group of girls being fawned over. And he had once actually come here with a date. So, at this given moment, in none of these situations, he decided he much prefered being anything but regular.
While most students that had snuck into the pub preferred to keep to themselves for fear of getting caught, Sirius never had a problem with making himself known. It was after all, one of the things he was very good at, and he rather liked the action and attention of the atmosphere. Besides that, he was a pretty well known face that probably couldn't stay on the down-low if his life depended on it. That translated to mean that it wasn't worth trying.
So it wasn't particularly surprising that after a couple of drinks, -which hadn't actually had any effect on him much to his annoyance-, he decided on going to talk to Rose. He'd taken to being rather fond of her when they first met. Though if anyone asked he'd simply blame it on being bored of the Hogwarts population at the time. But either way, he'd decided on defying the number one rule of sneaking out -don't be seen by the person in charge- to go have a conversation with said person.
“Evening ‘Mera,” He grinned at her from over the bar. What? This was Sirius. He couldn’t call anyone by their actual name. And he definitely couldn’t use a nickname that other people used. Especially if the person was hot. Because that would have destroyed the balance of the world or something…. Alright, so maybe not. But that still doesn’t change anything. "How are you?"
