PARAGRAPH FORMAT ::
Lucy is a very curious young woman. She always has been, probably always will be. Since she was in diapers, her parents had to cope with her taking everything apart in her reach in an attempt to see how it works. Though she has settled down now that she is a young adult, she's still rather hyperactive and can often be seen taking apart some Muggle device to gain an understand of it. Oh, and she's quite fascinated with Muggles as well. You might say she's a bit like a younger version of her Grandpa Arthur.
With the exception of that temper, of course.
Lucy has a tendency to lose it when around people she doesn't agree with. At a younger age (read: up until her third or fourth year at Hogwarts), Lucy preferred to settle disagreements with spells and her fists. Now that she has "mellowed" out a bit, she prefers a good old verbal smackdown, but can still be pushed every once in a while to her old ways.
BIRTHPLACE :: Cambridge, United Kingdom[/blockquote]
HISTORY ::
Lucy Adrienne Weasley was born on February 19, 2007 to Percy and Audrey Weasley. She was the second child born into the family, approximately a year after her older sister, Molly, was brought into the world. Growing up, Lucy always looked up to her older sister as a result of their proximity in age, and still does to some extent. The girls were fairly close growing up, though there were also frequent arguments due, once again, to their close proximity in age.
Nevertheless, Lucy felt quite lonely when her older sister went off to school. She still had a few cousins who were young enough not to attend Hogwarts, and she spent time playing with them, but it wasn't quite the same in Lucy's mind. Fortunately, she only had one year to wait and soon found herself in Hogwarts in 2018. She was sorted into Ravenclaw due to her inquisitive nature, although she soon proved to be anything but the average Ravenclaw.
Lucy was never a bookworm by any means. However, she did have a thirst for knowledge that she inherited from her paternal grandfather, Arthur Weasley. Lucy always enjoyed tinkering, especially with Muggle devices, to see how they worked. She did not fit the profile of the stereotypical Ravenclaw, but she did quite well nonetheless. She made the Quidditch team in her fourth year as a Beater, which coincided with a marked decrease in the amount of physical fights the girl got into. Now, in her fifth year, Lucy is trying to cope with studying for her OWLs and this new time clash. She's nervous as hell about meeting old relatives as students, though she would love to meet her grandfather Arthur.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE ::Chelsea Turner was quite excited that her brainchild was starting to come into fruition. She and Craig were starting a paper for Hogwarts, as editor and co-editor respectively. Chelsea had all sorts of plans for this paper...and, of course, when Chelsea had an idea in her head, she did not hesitate to go through with it.
She just hoped no one would discover the true identities of the staff of the paper...which, thus far, consisted of Craig and herself.
Chelsea was frustrated at the lack of participation in the paper, but surmised that if worse came to worse, she and Craig could run the paper themselves. It would be a challenge, of course, and it would be hard to publicize the paper with only two students working for it, but they would jump that hurdle when they came to it.
She would also conveniently ignore the fact that the paper was yet to be named.
Yes, Chelsea was getting a bit ahead of herself, but at least she was doing something to get the ball rolling. She was in the library, hard at work at writing an article. She found herself occasionally cursing the outdated method of writing in the wizarding world. She was a pureblood witch, but she was also raised amongst Muggles to promote tolerance (solely her mother's idea, as her father only grudgingly went along with it). Therefore, she adored the invention of the pencil and found it quite frustrating to not be able to erase her mistakes, but rather having to cross them out.
The article was looking quite messy at this point, but if one took into account all of the edits it was easy enough to read. At the very least, Chelsea could understand it, so when it came time for the printing press Chelsea could polish it up and turn in the final copy. This was just a rough...rough draft.
The one sentence that was perfectly legible, and had no marks over it, read out 'Exposed - The Truth About Professor Ivan Dingby'. Well, this paper would at least provide a few odd looks, if nothing else. As long as it brought attention to the paper.
