Though Albus doesn’t know it, or doesn’t want to admit it, he is uncannily similar to his father. Though Albus doesn’t enjoy being compared to his father, there is no helping it. They both have the same almond shaped green eyes and untidy dark hair. But, to add onto that, they are also quite similar personality wise also.
Albus does show quite a bit of bravery in his actions. He’s not afraid to do what he thinks is right even if it does get him into trouble. He just can’t help himself. If someone’s about to be hurt, he just can’t stand just sitting there and doing nothing. It makes him feel so useless and helpless which is something he hates. Even if someone’s life doesn’t depend on it, Albus likes helping others out. If someone asks a favour of him, he’ll most likely do it without hesitation. He’s a sweet kid, and can’t really stand hurting anyone’s feelings.
Over thinking things is something Albus does almost all the time. He’s afraid of making mistakes. This has a lot to do with who his father it. Everyone expects things from him. They expect him to be brave, to be a hero, but sometimes Albus isn’t sure he can be one. He just feels like he’s regular, old Albus. He helps people because it’s what he feels is right, not because that’s how Harry was. So, the point is, he thinks way to much. Every action he takes, he thinks about it first, and what the possible outcomes could be. He’s not squeamish about getting detention or going against the rules, but he likes thinking things out and knowing exactly how things are going to happen.
Though you probably wouldn’t think it, Albus is quite artistic. Since a young age, he took an interest in photography. Even he doesn’t remember how he got into it because it seems that as far back as he can remember, he’s been photographing things. He likes the feeling of being able to just push one button and having a memory on film forever. Photography also gave him an advantage in potions when he first arrived at Hogwarts because he already knew some basic stuff from years of creating a photograph developing potion for his pictures. Over the years, he’s taken millions of pictures developed – some still, like muggles make them, and some moving. He has even more film stored away. Of course, his favourite pictures and films he carries with him to Hogwarts each year. He loves going back and looking through them. Along with many pictures and films, Albus has quite a few cameras – three to be exact – and not to mention all of the other gadgets he needs to take and develop his pictures. Photography is his life. He’d be lost without his cameras.
Photography isn’t the only form of art he excels in. Albus is also a writer. He loves coming up with different story plots and writing them out. He hates poetry with a deep, dark loathing though. So he sticks to writing stories. It’s not as big a part of his life as photography is, but it’s still there. It’s not rare to see him sitting around the grounds of Hogwarts with rolls and rolls of parchment spread out around him.
For the most part, Albus is a quiet kid. He likes his alone time where he can get really into his writing or photographing. Something just clicks, and then everything just flows out of him. Immediately all his troubles drift away, and all that’s left it what he’s focusing on. It’s like nothing can touch him. Albus loves sliding into these states. They don’t happen very often, so when they do, it’s something special for him. Albus isn’t usually one to lose his temper, but he can be known for his outbursts at times. He can get particularly irritated if someone bothers him while he’s in one of his artsy states. But, of course, he gets angry for many other things. Seeing people being hurt or bullied is one of the things that can set him off.
Like his father, Albus is extremely awkward around girls, especially around ones that he likes. He doesn’t know what to say or do, and ends up looking like an idiot most of the time. He can’t help it if they make him nervous. He’s quite hopeless really. But, Albus doesn’t mind that much, or else he would’ve worked on it by now. At the moment, he just wants to work on school, his photography and his writing.

HISTORY :: Albus Severus Potter was the second child of Harry and Ginevra Potter. He was named after two great wizards – Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. He grew up with his two siblings, James who was a year older, and Lily who was two years younger. He was happy as he grew up. He was, and still is, very close to his parents. Though he sometimes dislikes being compared to his father, Albus wouldn’t change the family he has. James was (and still is) annoying, and he was always pulling pranks and teasing Albus, but he was family, Albus couldn’t change that, so he dealt with it, learning not to take James too seriously. Lily, his little itty bitty sister. Albus grew up loving his sister very much. He wasn’t the annoying older brother most girls have, but rather, he was very caring. Over the years, he’s become very protective of her. He also grew up with all his many, many Weasley cousins. He became especially close with Rose as they were both the same age and they went to school in the same year.
As soon as he could walk, Harry taught Albus how to fly. He became a very accomplished flyer, though he was never that enthusiastic about playing quidditch. Instead, he took to photography. It was a bit of a disappointment to his parents, who were both big quidditch fans, but that accepted it and before long he was learning how to make a potion to develop moving pictures. Albus grew up with a wildly creative imagination. He came up with story after story and eventually he began to write them down. Back home, he still has all of his old stories in a huge portfolio. When he turned eleven, Albus received his letter from Hogwarts. After seeing his brother leave off for school, Albus was excited to follow behind. James, of course, teased him about being in Slytherin, but his ever reassuring rather told him that he could choose. This made Albus relax and he hopped onto the train without much further worry, waving his parents off.
At the sorting ceremony, he was put into Ravenclaw to the surprise of his brother and cousin, and perhaps even all the other children in the hall. Awkwardly, Albus had walked to the Ravenclaw table. They had cheered loudly of course. A son of the chosen one was in their house. This made Albus smile. He was glad to be different. The sorting hat had been debating whether to put his father into slytherin or into Gryffindor, but Albus had been placed in neither. It made him feel special.
Albus excelled greatly at school. He was always close to the top of his class, and he learned everything quickly. He made friends too. He didn’t have a whole group of them, even though he probably could have, but he preferred his small group of friends. He didn’t like being the center of attention all the time. Albus advanced at Hogwarts, and here he is in his sixth year.
